We develop art editions in collaboration with leading publishing houses, museums, and foundations.

Our art concepts and editions are developed in close collaboration with renowned publishing houses, museums, and foundations. They are often linked to major exhibitions or relevant cultural themes and are accompanied by rigorously curated art editions of both artistic and commercial excellence. Together with the participating artists, we create distinctive edition projects as well as members’ editions for museum and association supporters. This demonstrates our ability to connect institutions, artists, and collectors within a coherent publishing framework.

NZZ

With the concept ‚International Artists Reflect on Switzerland‘, we have since 2016 brought together both emerging talents and some of the most important artists of our time, who contributed striking editions to the project. Sold-out editions in record time have turned these works into sought-after collectors’ items. The art issue itself has also become a collectible in its own right, uniquely combining publication and edition.

Unikat

Since 2007, the PArt Foundation’s Unikat series has combined monographs on young talents and international stars supporting the project with specially developed editions. Each volume provides a comprehensive insight into the work of two artists, while the accompanying editions enhance their visibility and give collectors direct access.

DCV

Together with the art publisher DCV, we released the comprehensive catalogue raisonné of Franz Erhard Walther’s Printed Matters, designs, and artist books. The publication was co-edited by Rene Spiegelberger and Claus von der Osten. Its realization was made possible through the financing generated by a successful edition. This project demonstrates how, through edition models, we are able to realize ambitious undertakings such as major book projects and, among them, artist catalogues raisonnés of the highest standard.

NZZ am Sonntag

PArt Editions produces exclusive editions for the NZZ am Sonntag together with renowned painters, sculptors, and multimedia artists. Our partnerships with artists from around the world allow us to offer a diverse selection of contemporary art that reflects the cultural diversity and artistic innovations of our time. The result is Sunday issues with the character of artist’s books, accompanied by distinctive editions.

Tagesspiegel

Together with the Tagesspiegel, PArt Editions realized a project with Berlin-based plein-air painter Christopher Lehmpfuhl. The collaboration resulted in an exclusive series of works, a special edition, and a Tagesspiegel special issue, all accompanied by a presentation of his art. The project exemplifies how PArt Editions, in partnership with publishers and artists, develops tailor-made works and creates collectibles that resonate far beyond the event itself.

Prestel

Together with the Prestel Verlag, we realized a distinguished publication that powerfully reflects our commitment to editions. In this context, and in collaboration with the Estate of Joseph Beuys, an exclusive edition was published to accompany the book project. As editor and co-author, René Spiegelberger developed and implemented the project in close partnership with the publisher. Both the book and the editions exemplify our ambition to successfully bring together artists or estates, collectors, and leading institutions of the art market.

Distanz Verlag

Together with Distanz Verlag, we realized the publication on Thorsten Brinkmann’s work cycle Se King – director’s shot. The elaborate artist’s book was closely linked to a Unikat edition of Polaroids, whose success made the project possible in the first place. The book thus combines comprehensive documentation with an exclusive edition series, exemplifying how publication and edition can mutually reinforce each other.

Concerti

Together with Christopher Lehmpfuhl, a special edition was created around Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. The Berlin-based plein-air painter captured the city’s landmark in a series of paintings that reflect different perspectives, light, and weather conditions. The resulting body of work combines artistic authenticity with collector’s value and exemplifies how music and architecture can be coherently united in a single artistic cycle.
